The United Methodist Women

The Purpose
The purpose of the United Methodist Women is to know God and to experience
freedom as whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop creative, supportive
fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participations in the global
ministries of the church.

Our of the Purpose are four mission foci that relate to the mission initiatives and priorities of United Methodist Women.

  • To be a community of women
  • To know God
  • To develop a creative and supportive fellowship
  • To expand concepts of mission

The United Methodist Women operate within Central United Methodist Church as smaller “Circle Groups” and not as a large collective meeting group. This meeting format gives our ladies the ability to build a stronger church community through more personal relationships with one another.
