Graduation Announcement Are you graduating from high school or college this year? We want to honor you in our newsletter and bulletin. Graduating students or their parents are asked to contact the church office at 704-739-2471 or central@cumckm.org with the student’s name, the school that they will graduate from and the degree and major (for college students). Please let the office know by 5/28/19. We will honor our graduates on June 2 in the 10:50am service....

COMING JUNE 2019! We will be calling our new children’s ministry program “KID Central.” Our goal with KID Central is for our church to partner with families for the next generation. If you are wondering, KID is an acronym for “kids in discipleship.” Through our children’s ministry, we hope to instill in children a foundation of faith and relationship with Jesus, so that as they age and develop their own walk in Christ they are able to stand firm against worldly pressures and live righteous lives....

Small Group Meetings for Church Survey Results Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 9:30am-10: 30 am, we would like to invite you to participate in small group meetings that will be assigned by age. Each age group will be assigned to a specific meeting room. At that time, thoughts and ideas generated from the survey results will be discussed. We will then be asking for your input on a plan for how we can grow and strengthen Central moving forward. Coffee and donuts will be provided....

We would like to introduce our new Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries, Gene Bragg. Gene is from Greensboro, NC and is married with 5 children. He is excited to be joining the team here and developing relationships with our church families along with connecting with our community. His background includes working as a detective and a polygraph examiner for the Greensboro Police Department. He is a graduate of Liberty University. A quote from Gene: “As a former police officer and a current small group coach at my church, I have experience directing and organizing multiple groups around various topics and issues. My concentration is in evangelism and my passion for apologetics drive me to help people develop a more Biblical worldview, living lives grounded in the word of God and defending their faith to nonbelievers.
