Warming Hearts Missions Committee Project January and February can be hard months for those in need – the weather is cold, many do not have the basic essentials or they have run out after the rush of Christmas donations. Please help us warm the hearts of those less fortunate in our community.  In February we will join our Community Kitchen in giving out additional food as well as socks, hats, and gloves.  We will be collecting these items during the month of January. If you are not able to drop off the specific items but would like to support this project, you may drop off a monetary donation to the church office (on the memo line please designate it to Warming Hearts). For more information, please see Stephanie Wilson or contact the church office at 704-739-2471. We also have an Amazon Wish list.  ...

Hello Church Family, Below you will find the material for our congregation-wide Bible study of Advent. We meet after Sunday worship in the CAC. Brian Brooks and I are leading this group and we encourage you to attend if able. In order for us to grow as disciples, we must spend time in the Word, live like Christ, and be a community of followers. We hope that even if you are unable to attend you will read the material and see what God has in it for you. Please read over it prior to attending so we have the most time for discussion as possible. Please let us know if you need anything, have questions or concerns, or if we can be praying for you. Abba’s Love, the recently transformed women’s shelter ran by Cleveland County Rescue Mission in Shelby is currently seeking new women’s and children’s pajamas (all sizes are needed). A lot of times when women and children flee to seek shelter, they often do not bring any belongings. These PJ’s will be the first thing that they will change into after getting a shower to enter the shelter. Please bring your donations and put them in the collection bin in the CAC hallway. Any questions, please contact the church office....
