Pentecost Sunday
Pentecost Sunday is June 5. Please wear the color red to church service.
The purpose of our church family ministry is to provide opportunities for our diverse church family to connect with one another and enjoy Christian fellowship in a safe, supportive environment. Church members and friends of all ages are encouraged to join the fun!
Take a break from cooking and enjoy an evening of inter-generational fun and fellowship every Wednesday of each month at 6:15, prior to Chancel Choir Practice, in our Church CAC. Come connect with your church family while having a savory and tasty meal!
Various Past Family Fellowship Night Activities have included:
The Church’s Annual Fall Festival is always a good time for families to come together. It’s held in Late October each year in the church’s CAC building. Children come in costume to play various carnival-style games, jump in bounce houses, collect candy treats, and partake in a hot dog supper. The Fall Festival is also open to the community and church members are encouraged to invite another outside of the church to attend.

I am humbled and honored to serve God’s Kingdom as a part of Central UMC of Kings Mountain! We will meet in the choir room for a rehearsal and for some time to talk and get to know each other. Whether you have been singing as a part of the choir during service or singing from the comfort of your home, we would love to see your face and hear your voice Wednesday as we turn over a new leaf in the music program! As we look forward to sharing fellowship and joy with the purpose of singing praises to our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ, please plan to join us at 7 pm this Wednesday. I am excited to hear your opinions on things that have worked in the past as well as learn about your all-time favorite choral pieces. Please encourage each other (and new voices) to gather...

These range from topics such as Bible studies, devotionals, apologetic, marriage, parenting, and many many more. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity as much as you can. One of the features that I am most excited about is the ability for anyone to find a resource and share it with others. Because of this, we will be adopting this into our congregational-wide Sunday school. Below you will find a link to the study we will be using for the...
