February 22, 2023 Join us for our Community Lenten Service at noon on 2/22/23 at Central UMC. There will not be a meal this year. Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, and spiritual discipline. Although Ash Wednesday has ancient roots, it does not appear in the rituals of The United Methodist Church or our predecessor denominations until the 20th century. Our envelopes are still in the queue on the production floor. Unfortunately, production is behind this year because of a machine repair and also due to a chain supply shortage of paper and labor. They are hopeful that the envelopes will be available by February and they thanked us for our understanding. There will be blank envelopes for you to use for giving, please see an usher or take one from the back of the pew....

Please note that you do not have to be fully committed to leading a group in order to attend this meeting. Whether you know for sure that you would like to lead a small group, or you are simply interested in the possibility of leading one, feel free to come by! Reach out to Kayla...
