Love to sing? The Kings Mountain Community Chorus & Orchestra is open to all singers in our city and surrounding areas with a love for choral music. Directed by conductor Carlos Zamora and accompanist/collaborative artist Mike Sisk, singers will have the opportunity to perform with a chamber orchestra in a culminating concert for the community at the Joy Performance Center on December 3rd. We will rehearse on Monday evenings at 7pm with rehearsals starting on October 28th. Rehearsals will take place in the Choral Rehearsal Room of Central UMC in downtown. COMING JUNE 2, 2019 at 8:45am! We will be calling our new children’s ministry program "KID Central." Our goal with KID Central is for our church to partner with families for the next generation. If you are wondering, KID is an acronym for "kids in discipleship." Through our children’s ministry, we hope to instill in children a foundation of faith and relationship with Jesus, so that as they age and develop their own walk in Christ they are able to stand firm against worldly pressures and live righteous lives....

Gene is from Greensboro, NC and is married with 5 children. He is excited to be joining the team here and developing relationships with our church families along with connecting with our community. His background includes working as a detective and a polygraph examiner for the Greensboro Police Department. He is a graduate of Liberty University.
